Hey Friends!
Can you believe that we’re in the FINAL month of the year? I swear, 2023 came in and hit us with the church finger like, “I’m just going to head on out, scuse me!” I swear I was just at QuiltCon hanging out with Lisa, Naomi and everyone!
Did you notice I made a couple of changes? I have no idea why I decided to name this newsletter something other than my brand. I set this up about 2 years before I actually started promoting it. My brother told me about it, I was like, “Cool story, bro.” and then just left it. Now? I just wrapped my first coaching call on how to use it. Wild times!
Farewell #NewPatternNovember
I outlined all the patterns I’d planned on sewing here. On Saturday, I’ll be publishing all my makes (that are no longer in testing) that were new on my YouTube channel. I was doing pretty well for the first couple of weeks. I made ME2009, the Bestie Bag, Belmont Jacket, and the Isola Jumpsuit from the list. I also made Julian’s fall pattern that we hacked into a bomber jacket. And then I signed up for pattern tests, my spring KnowMe pattern came, and ultimately, I had to handle some things. But we’ll get into that on Saturday when I announce winners.
Hello Vlogmas!
I am ABSOLUTELY determined to be an official YouTuber (that sounds so silly to me but whatever). I was talking to Raven about this and she suggested that I participate in Vlogmas, so I am! I really started being consistent about posting to my YouTube channel after surgery and I think I’m doing pretty well. Vlogmas kicks off today and I’m hosting a premiere on my YouTube channel so head over there at 9am EST and hangout with me!
With Vlogmas I’ll be publishing a YouTube video daily. It’s a little intense but I’m ok with it since I’ve decided to take a little breaky break from IG and TikTok. Even though I won’t be nearly as active there (I’ll be scheduling out posts because it is still a business for me), we can still chat under the “Chat” tab! I don’t know if you all know that so I just wanted to make sure you did—also: come chat with me…
Money Saving Tips for Sewists
This week on the AudaSEWtea podcast, we’re talking how to save money (and reduce some carbon imprints) on there. And there’s an AITA that you don’t want to miss!
I’m preparing for 2024 and I want to make sure I provide you all with content that’s valuable so I would love to hear from you—what types of content would you like to see more of?
