I was in my 30s before I finally learned how to read a sewing pattern and it was so freeing to me when I finally got it. This is coming from someone who has sewn for most of their lives. But sewing patterns were so hard for me to understand. As soon as I would start reading them, I would be so lost as to what to do and most of that confusion was rooted in lack of understanding of sewing jargon. And then what to do from there.
So as the first installment of my series of ezines, I’ve written an easy-to-digest “How to Read Sewing Patterns” and all my paid subbies get it!
I do know that many of you already know how to read patterns and I get that. I would love your suggestions on other ezines needed to add to my list of things that I’m writing but I’m working creating a series and this is just the first of it’s kind.
